Here at Emmanuel Church, worship is all about Jesus. Our mission is to help people come to Christ and grow in Christ, and everything we do flows from that purpose.

We value creativity and are passionate about seeing people use their God given gifts to serve the Church and glorify God. Our posture in worship is one of surrender, giving Him all the honor and praise He deserves.

Our team exists to serve the vision of Emmanuel Church. We are one team, committed to worship God with humility, and leading others into authentic encounters with Jesus. Everything we do is for His glory.

Bailey Kennedy

Worship Director

Stones Crossing

Bailey joined the Emmanuel Staff in September 2025. She and her husband have two children,– Asher and Noa.

Bailey loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys thrifting, organizing, fashion, being outdoors, and trying new restaurants and foods.

Colby Lovins

Worship Director

Columbus

Colby joined the Emmanuel Staff in July 2026. He and his fiancée, Caylyn, are looking forward to getting married in June 2027.

Outside of Emmanuel, Colby leads worship with the young adult group Treasured Generation and enjoys traveling, playing guitar, singing, and keeping up with the latest Marvel movies.

Kelsie Reiker

Worship Pastor

Southern Region

Kelsie joined the Emmanuel Staff in October 2021. She and her husband Steven, have one son, Werner.

She enjoys reading, running, listening to podcasts, traveling, and cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers basketball team. She also loves spending time with her family at their farm or doing life with their small group.

Jared McCormick

Regional Worship Director

Martinsville · Banta · Greenwood East

Jared joined the Emmanuel staff in September 2020. He previously served as the Stones Crossing Production Director before stepping into his current role.

He and his wife, Andrea, have four boys: Jackson, Eli, Theo, and Wyatt. Jared enjoys spending time with his family, playing music, and cooking outdoors.

Joey Gearries

Creative & Programming Pastor

Joey has called Emmanuel home for more than 30 years and is passionate about creating a worship culture that reflects Emmanuel’s mission to “Come to Christ and Grow in Christ.”

Joey and his wife, Allison, are aunt and uncle to seven nieces and nephews and hope to one day adopt a child of their own. Outside of Emmanuel, Joey enjoys fantasy football, competitive games of Settlers of Catan, and meal prepping for his beautiful wife.

Rafael Avilez

Worship & Production Director

Banta

Rafael joined the Emmanuel Staff in October 2023. Rafael is passionate about creating environments where people can encounter Jesus and helping them discover the joy and purpose of serving the local church.

He and his wife, Anna, are raising their daughter, Marianna. Outside of church, Rafael enjoys cooking, gaming, collecting One-Piece Funko Pops, and spending time with his family.

Scott Lane

Centralized Worship Director

Scott joined the Emmanuel staff in October 2023 and supports all our campuses, mostly behind the scenes.

He and his wife Pamela have two children – Norah and Hunter. Scott enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing guitar, and sharing his love of all kinds of music.

Greg Lammers

Worship and Production Director

Franklin

Greg joined the Emmanuel staff in August 2026.

He and his wife, Lori, have three children, Kaira, Korynn, and Gavin, and live on a small farm in Nashville, IN. Greg and his family love spending time outdoors hiking, paddling, and working on their farm.
