Join us as we serve alongside our local partner, Exodo Church, in Cartagena, Colombia. This trip is unique because we will be serving alongside Exodo and Homes of Hope to build a new home for an individual who calls Exodo Church home. We know this week will be impactful in many ways. About the Trip

This mission trip is made possible through our partnership with Exodo Church in Cartagena, Colombia. The trip will take place January 15–22, 2027.

Estimated Cost: $2,200

The cost of the trip includes airfare, lodging, meals, ground transportation, and security-related expenses while in-country. We attempt to price trips to not need any adjustment. Final trip costs may vary slightly based on airfare pricing. The confirmed cost will be communicated to the team once flights have been secured.

Ministry Opportunities

This trip offers a unique opportunity to partner directly with our brothers and sisters at Exodo Church. A primary focus of the trip will be helping construct a home for a member of the church. In addition to the build project, team members will have opportunities to engage with communities connected to Exodo Church through outreach, relationship-building, and support of local ministry efforts.

While the final itinerary will be determined closer to the trip date, anticipated ministry opportunities include:

  • Construction projects
  • Sports and recreation activities with local youth
  • Community engagement and outreach
  • Supporting local church programs and events

Important Information

  • A valid passport is required.
  • Participants should be comfortable walking, standing, and working outdoors in warm weather.
  • Team meetings and training sessions will be held prior to departure.
  • Final trip details, packing lists, and schedules will be provided after registration.

Tentative Schedule

Day 1: Travel and team orientation

Days 2–6: Home construction, ministry projects, outreach events, and community engagement

Day 7: Team reflection, cultural experience, and restoration day

Day 8: Return travel

Fundraising

Participants are encouraged to invite family members, friends, and church members to partner with them through prayer and financial support. Fundraising resources, tools, and guidance will be provided throughout the team preparation process.
