Summary of Role
Under the direction of the Campus Pastor, the Elementary Coordinator will prepare and equip all classrooms from Kindergarten – 6th grade and provide support to all Impact Team members and staff serving in that environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the process of recruiting, onboarding, and training new Impact Team members for Kindergarten – 6th grade classrooms
- Schedule, follow up with, and confirm Impact Team members for each weekend service environment in the Elementary area
- Provide classroom leaders with the curriculum materials and tools needed to come to the environment prepared each weekend
- Familiarize yourself with & distribute to Impact Team members the curriculum material, tools and activities needed to come prepared to the environments each weekend
- Check with Impact Team members in Kindergarten – 6th grade environments during services to verify all Impact Team members are present, positions are filled, and ratios are met
- Evaluate every environment through the lens of a first-time guest and the lens of children and families
- Partner with parents to provide resources to equip families to reinforce the kids ministry weekend service topics throughout the week
- Connect families to events, activities and resources for staying connected
- Maintain safe and secure environments in classrooms from Kindergarten – 6th grade
- Ensure pertinent classroom and serving area data is accurate and updated by using church software
- Manage each area weekly ensuring that all supplies and curriculum materials are stocked and all room features are in good working order; submit facility request for items in need of repair
- Provide training, encouragement, feedback and support to impact team members in Kindergarten – 6th grade environments
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- High School Degree required
- Experience in Kids ministry, paid or volunteer, required
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in conflict resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational/administrative skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to learn and use Emmanuel’s systems (Rock, Planning Center, etc.) and learn and adapt to new technology
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner, self-motivated
- Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion when handling personal and ministry information
- Demonstrate a servant heart with spiritual maturity and sensitivity

o Financial support of the church with your tithe
o Attend one weekend service each week and monthly staff meetings
o Participate in community through small group
o Prioritize a Sabbath (one 24-hour period of time off work each week)
