Aging doesn’t guarantee maturity. This principle is true for the spiritual life. It is possible to trust Christ but not make progress towards the abundant life he offers us now. In order to grow spiritually, we must connect to Christ through attending weekend services, joining a small group and practicing spiritual disciplines.
